Work Preparation Specialist – Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)

ASM Dimatec Deutschland GmbH develops and produces special-purpose machines for crisis-resistant industries such as defense technology, asphalt, and the chemical industry – deliberately without dependence on the automotive sector.

To strengthen our mechanical production, we are looking for experienced machining technicians, industrial foremen, or candidates with comparable qualifications who would like to contribute their technical expertise in a stable environment.

Whether you bring several years of professional experience or already look back on 20 years of practical knowledge – what matters most to us is your experience and technical understanding.

Your Responsibilities:

You ensure that technical ideas are turned into production-ready projects. This includes:

  • Cost calculation of welded assemblies as well as turned and milled parts
  • Reviewing tenders and technical documentation
  • Creating bills of materials, work plans, and job cost calculations in the ERP system
  • Monitoring costs and project progress
  • Close collaboration with design, purchasing, and production

In short: you are a key interface between engineering and production.

Your profile:

You do not need to match a perfect textbook profile. What matters most to us is technical understanding and experience. The following are advantageous:

  • Experience in mechanical engineering, the supplier industry, or skilled trades
  • Prior knowledge in welding, turning, or milling
  • Structured and reliable way of working
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

Practically experienced experts who bring many years of hands-on production knowledge are explicitly welcome.
